Eden Server
is a Windows 2000/2003 based application that provides a framework in
which your batch and CICS COBOL applications run. The overall
architecture of Eden is that of a distributed client server
application. Core functionality is handled by Eden Server, while CICS
application programs and screen handling (BMS) functions are handled by
Eden Client. The result? Mainframe class response times using even
modest PC hardware, in addition to the superior stability of a
distributed architecture.

Real Costs associated
with Eden Server are generally lower than those associated with other
re-hosting or migration alternatives. In addition to low licensing
costs for Eden software, hardware and operating systems are
dramatically reduced when compared to mainframe or UNIX based
alternatives.
For many of our clients, the most significant savings are in the form
of cost avoidance. By extending appliction lifecycles, costly hardware
upgrades, application rewrites or even replacement of entire
applications with new software are eliminated.

From a software
standpoint, Eden Server is a complete package. With the exception of
requiring at least one supported COBOL compiler and IDE, there are no
add-ons or extras required to use any of the Eden Server components or
features.
Because Eden Server will likely accept all of your batch and CICS/COBOL
and BMS assembler source code with virtually no changes, training and
implementation times are significantly lower than other re-hosting or
migration options.
