In
addition to being a display area for system messages, the System Log is
also a true 'system input console'. Every detail of the systems
activities are recorded in the system log file and displayed here,
regardless of command source, i.e., menu / mouse, keyboard, attached
client or from the remote ECOMM utility. All commands are coded for
quick reference in the system documentation as well as color coded for
easy visual reference on-screen.
The
screen shot below of the System Log shows several of the many pieces of
performance data available from Eden Server. Full control over the
logging mechanism is available through Eden Server's System Preferences
notebook.

Network Monitor Window |
|
The
Network Monitor window provides information on Eden Servers use of your
TCP/IP network resources.
The
'Graph' page of this window gives a complete, quick visual indication
of network performance. Each of the graph's shown are sliding scales
that provide: a) Peak, b) current and c) average indicators for their
respective displays.
The
'Details' page provides additional information including packet size,
error data and other important information in a text format display.
Also
displayed on the Network Monitor window are the 'Users' and 'Firewall'.
Both these pages provide current client connection and security
information. All display information is real-time, updated once per

show the particular region name, color coded to reference the status of
the application - starting, running, stopped, etc.
Complete
operating information for each region is displayed in real time, once
